Structural Engineering Technician

Struer Consulting Engineers is a Glasgow based practice founded in 2000. We are Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers with an experienced workforce who pride themselves in efficient delivery of innovative solutions across various industry sectors. Struer are a proactive company who focus on collaboration and coordination with other design team members resulting in successful delivery through a "whole team" approach. We have built a wide and varied client base over our 26 years in business.

Future project commitments have created an opportunity for the practice to strengthen and grow.

The role is for a Technician experienced in structural CAD and BIM drawing and qualified to HNC/HND level. Experience in Civil Engineering drawing is beneficial but not essential. Candidates will need to be good communicators and integrate with the current Struer team and the wider project design team. Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude is required. The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within project timelines will be an advantageous quality.

There is also an opportunity to attend meetings and run projects should this be a personal preference or a future goal.

Detailing experience in all forms of structure is a role requirement. However, most work will involve steel and concrete structures.
