Marine Vessel Engineer - HVAC

What You'll Do

• Lead HVAC & refrigerator system performance across complex marine platforms
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve high‑level system failures with precision
• Act as the technical authority for design reviews, system upgrades, and modifications
• Drive improvement in energy efficiency, reliability, and vessel habitability
• Lead HVAC activities during dry dock, refits, and commissioning

• Proven experience across chilled water & DX systems, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems
• Marine refrigeration & air quality control
• Strong track record in fault finding, optimisation, and system upgrades
• Deep understanding of SOLAS, MARPOL, and Class compliance
• Skilled in managing maintenance strategies and performance analytics

• Calm, decisive problem‑solving under pressure
• Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and technical teams
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and engineering excellence

• Marine/Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
• Extensive hands‑on marine HVAC experience
• Desirable: HVAC/Refrigeration certification & F‑Gas

• Be at the forefront of marine engineering innovation
• Influence projects from concept design to in‑service support
• Drive sustainability and efficiency across modern fleets
• Work with advanced tools including Siemens NX, Solid Works, Foran, and more
