Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team delivering high-profile infrastructure and energy projects across Scotland. In this role, you will provide commercial leadership on projects, manage costs, and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on position for someone confident working closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to achieve successful project delivery.

Role Overview As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of assigned projects, including cost planning, procurement, contract management, and risk control. You'll support the project team by providing accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with contracts, and helping to drive efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial aspects of infrastructure and energy projects from start to finish Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts Conduct procurement and manage subcontractor contracts and variations Monitor project costs, report progress, and recommend corrective actions where necessary Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards Produce regular financial reports for clients and senior management Support risk management and advise on commercial implications of project decisions Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve commercial issues Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure, or energy sectors Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or similar contract forms Experience managing project budgets, procurement, and commercial reporting Full UK driving licence What You'll Receive Opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure and energy projects across Scotland Exposure to challenging projects with career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative teams with strong technical expertise Legal Information:
