  • Complete detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function.
  • Have an ability to inspire confidence both internally and externally, and then use this to strengthen client relationships.
  • Manage time on projects to suit deadlines and complete assigned tasks.
  • Where you are the project mechanical lead, coordinate the tasks so all deadlines are met and allocate resources appropriately.
About you
  • Be a qualified engineer having a proven and demonstrable track record in your discipline.
  • Ideally have previous experience working with mission‑critical systems within the data centre industry or similar industries with critical engineering aspects (e.g. pharmaceutical, health care, enterprise data centre installations, oil & gas, etc.).
  • Have a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue with higher education.
  • Have achieved or be working towards IEng or CEng status.
  • Able to work using your own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of your discipline or have specific specialist experience applicable to the role.
  • Able to inspire confidence both internally and externally, and then use this to strengthen client relationships.
  • Be an excellent communicator and possess the ability to make what is complicated simple.
  • Have an interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools.

  • Investment in your development.
  • Leaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles.
  • Be valued for the unique person you are.
  • Never be short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects.
  • The long‑term thinking of a foundation‑owned company.
  • Flexible work environment.
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (may differ in Scotland and Ireland).
