Field Service Engineer - Glasgow

Salary: £42,000 Base, 60k OTE Day Shifts Permanent.

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across Scotland.

This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong industrial background
, particularly within environments such as print, paper, recycling, plastics, injection moulding
, or similar manufacturing sectors. Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly desirable, though strong engineers from other regulated or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.

The role will require you to travel to customer sites across the Scotland area carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on highly technical automated machinery. The base salary is for your core hours but the nature of the role will require you to work overtime on a regular basis; the company ethos is that the day is done when your work is done, with this in mind your realistic OTE will be around 60k, all travel and expenses are also paid for.

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance or Service Engineer in the UK.
• Experience working on PLCs, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs.
