Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer - Manufacturing / Electronics - Cambridge - £40k We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a leading advanced manufacturing business supporting the communications, defence, space and transportation industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company focused on delivering world-class products within a Lean Manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support Quality Management Systems in line with corporate and internal standards  Lead activities relating to change control, concessions, non-conformance handling and software releases  Conduct internal audits to ISO
9001 and ISO
27001 standards  Drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and FMEA  Support assembly, inspection and testing of micro-components and precision manufactured parts

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience with in a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing or engineering environment  Internal Auditor certification for ISO
9001 and/or ISO
27001  Strong understanding of RCCA methodologies, 8D and FMEA techniques  Knowledge of legislative standards including RoHS, REACH and SCIP  

Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP  Experience working with electronic products
