Minerals & Waste Planner - Environmental Impact Assessment Focus We are currently working with a well-established planning consultancy to recruit a Minerals & Waste Planner with strong Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) knowledge to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner looking to work within a collaborative and specialist environment, offering exposure to a varied project portfolio across minerals, waste, and environmental planning.

The Role You will play a key role in supporting and delivering minerals and waste planning projects, with a particular focus on Environmental Impact Assessment work. The successful candidate will work closely with a close-knit team of planning professionals and environmental specialists on a range of complex and high-profile developments. Responsibilities will include:
· Preparing and managing planning applications for minerals and waste developments
· Supporting and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
· Producing planning statements and technical reports
· Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
· Advising clients on planning strategy and environmental considerations
· Assisting with project delivery from inception through to determination About You The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous experience within minerals and/or waste planning
· Strong working knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
· Excellent report writing and communication skills
· A proactive and collaborative approach to project work
· MRTPI qualification or working towards chartership is desirable The Team & Working Environment
· Small, supportive team of approximately 10 people
· Collaborative office culture with strong professional development opportunities
