** What you’ll be doing
** You’ll work closely with our suppliers and internal teams to drive excellence in mechanical manufacturing and product delivery:
* Build trusted partnerships with suppliers to deliver high-quality, reliable components
* Collaborate to
** optimise manufacturing processes and reduce costs
*** Provide technical input during supplier selection, audits, and readiness reviews
* Lead supplier audits, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
* Support
** First Article Inspections (FAI)
** and validate new production processes
* Analyse process data to improve quality, yield, and performance
* Drive
** APQP and PPAP
** activities to ensure smooth new product introduction
* Partner cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined
* Support supplier manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
** What you’ll bring
** We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset:
* Experience in
** mechanical manufacturing processes** (machining, casting, forging, etc.)
* Background working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of
** Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, and PPAP
*** Strong communication skills and a relationship-focused approach
* A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
* Ability to travel to supplier sites
** Your background
*** Degree in
** Mechanical, Manufacturing, Product Design or similar**,
* or* equivalent industry experience
