Solutions Engineer – Utility Scale South Africa
About the Role
In this dynamic position, you will be at the forefront of technical solution design, supporting client projects from concept through early execution. You will collaborate with experts and work on cutting‑edge solar initiatives with a tangible impact.
Responsibilities- Design and optimize utility‑scale solar PV systems to maximize efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative technical solutions for solar projects.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and align technical solutions accordingly.
- Support project development stages from initial concept through early execution phases.
- Stay updated on South Africa’s renewable energy market trends and integrate them into project execution strategies.
- 3+ years of experience in utility‑scale solar PV projects.
- Proficient in designing and improving solar PV systems, ensuring efficiency and performance.
- Deep understanding of PV system design and project development fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with South Africa’s renewable energy market (preferred).
