An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Graduate Technician to join our Roads Maintenance Service on a permanent basis.

NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services.

Our Graduate Technicians are part of a technical team that will support the delivery of high quality and best value roads, traffic, and winter maintenance operations.

The role is critical to the delivery of Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 statutory duties to manage and maintain the local road network and associated infrastructure.

An HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related subject, or suitable relevant operational experience; plus, a current driving licence are essential requirements for this role.
