Performance Test Engineer (Load Runner)

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced Performance Test Engineer (Load Runner Engineer) to be based at their client's office in Glasgow.

This is a hybrid role: you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Glasgow office 3 days per week.

This is a 6 month temporary contract to start ASAP

The Senior Performance Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that applications and platforms meet performance, scalability, stability, and reliability requirements under expected and peak workload conditions. The role requires extensive experience with Load Runner/Performance Centre, strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, and the ability to work closely with business, architecture, development, and infrastructure teams to identify and mitigate performance risks early in the delivery life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand performance test requirements and prepare test plan
• Create and update performance test scripts and test data
• Able to conduct performance test execution and analyze the test results
• Able to identify Performance bottlenecks and effectively communicate the performance risks to respective project team
