Are you a recent Graduate with a passion for geology, geotechnics and ground investigation?

I am on the lookout for a motivated Graduate Engineering Geologist, to join a growing Glasgow team and help deliver a wide range of exciting infrastructure, environmental and development projects across the central belt of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, develop your technical skills, and work alongside experienced Engineering Geologist in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with ground investigations on a variety of civil engineering and constructions projects
  • Logging soil and rock to current industry standards
  • Supervising drilling rigs and trial pit investigations
  • Collecting soil, rocks and groundwater samples
  • Carrying out in-situ testing & monitoring
  • Preparing factual ground investigations reports
  • Supporting geotechnical analysis and interpretation of site data
  • Working closely with project managers, engineers and environmental specialists.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
What You'll Need
  • A relevant degree - Geology, Earth Sciences, Geoscience etc.
  • A genuine interested in ground investigation and engineering geology
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independent and as part of a team
  • Full driving license
