The OpportunityJoin our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Urban Drainage Modeller in our Glasgow office, where you will work alongside our specialist team to help shape the future of wastewater management and deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Working alongside senior wastewater network modellers, you will support hydraulic modelling, feasibility studies, contingency planning, surge analysis and water quality assessments. Your core responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and use of hydraulic models to assess urban drainage systems.
- Contributing to feasibility studies and contingency planning for wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Supporting surge analysis and water quality assessment work.
- Helping to optimise urban drainage systems and identify robust, future-proofed solutions.
- Working collaboratively with specialist colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative client solutions.
- Developing your technical skills and industry knowledge through project experience, mentoring and structured support.
We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. The professional progression plan for this role will support you to become chartered with ICE or CIWEM.
Your ImpactThis role will help deliver better outcomes for communities and the environment by contributing to the development of resilient, sustainable and future-proofed wastewater infrastructure. Through hydraulic modelling, feasibility work and water quality assessments, you will help clients understand system performance, manage urban drainage challenges and develop innovative solutions for complex water infrastructure needs.
Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that you receive sufficient time with your team and receive the appropriate level of support.
