The Role
As a Graduate Nuclear Management Consultant, there are opportunities to cover a breadth of different disciplines ranging from nuclear safety case management, environmental management, and radioactive waste management to nuclear criticality assessment and radiological safety assessment. You will work closely with senior consultants in a collaborative environment to develop your technical skills across the entire project lifecycle.
YourKey Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing vital technical support to senior team members in the delivery of complex projects across a range of nuclear disciplines, including safety assurance, radioactive waste management, and environmental assessments.
- Taking a proactive, lead role on the execution of specific technical tasks, which involves performing detailed data assessments, reviewing and updating technical documentation, authoring high-quality reports, and recording technical outcomes during client workshops.
- Supporting senior team members with day-to-day client engagement and business development interactions, while actively contributing to the preparation and development of competitive bid submissions for new work opportunities.
With the potential to support both our Nuclear/Environmental Safety Case services and our Radiological Waste Management specialism in this role, you will apply rigorous scientific approaches and engineering thinking to some of society’s most complex challenges, helping to ensure that nuclear operations remain safe, sustainable, and ethically responsible.

Ultimately, your contributions will directly prevent accidents, minimise environmental impacts, and safeguard public trust, ensuring that the decommissioning of nuclear facilities and the expansion of critical infrastructure are delivered safely, securely, and cost-effectively to support the clean-up mission for the UK's nuclear legacy and the UK's long-term net-zero ambitions.
