Neuranics is a fast-growing fabless semiconductor company pioneering the future of magnetic sensing solutions.
Based in Glasgow, we are developing cutting-edge Tunnelling Magneto resistance (TMR) sensors that are enabling the next generation of wearables, XR, and advanced human-machine interaction.

You’llbe part of a fast-moving team developing technology that is unlocking new possibilities for next-generation devices, working closely with Tier 1 consumer electronics and semiconductor companies. This is a chance to make a real impact, tackling challenges and driving breakthrough solutions in exciting and rapidly evolving markets.
As an electronics engineer, you will be focusing on the design and delivery of complex electronic circuit assemblies and architectures, progressing solutions from concept through to system integration and qualification. You will be designingcutting-edgesystems for biomedical and consumer applications, gettinghands-on with both hardware and firmware design. This role involves working closely with software, application, product,sensorand ASIC teams, contributing to, and ensuring the successfuldeploymentof ourTMR sensors.
You will play a key role inshaping product capabilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop hands-on PCB design skills in a fast-moving team building our TMR sensor products.
Key Responsibilities:- Electronic schematic design
- PCB design and layout
- Embeddedfirmware development
- Hardware bring-up and debugging
- Supporting prototype assembly and documentation
- Contributing to the product development process
- HND, HNC, college qualification or undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field
- 1-2years’ experience in hardware and firmware design
- Strong technical skills with analogue and mixed-signal schematic and PCB design
- Experience with multi-layer PCB layout using Altium Designer
- Ability to troubleshoot and solvesystem integration issues, and product development roadblocks
- Ability to write subsystem requirements or procurement specs
- A good understanding of engineering processes and life cycles
- Hands-on testing experience (rapid prototyping and soldering, board bring-up, debugging, EMC testing, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and technical report writing, with the ability to engage with multidisciplinarytechnical teamsasrequired
- Willingness to travel for technical supportifrequired
- Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with MCU peripheral integration
- Experience with C or C++
- Experience with SPI/I2C/UART/USB/BLE firmware communications
- Experience with low-power and IoT system designs
- Background inelectronics systems for biosensing applications
- Familiarity withSTM
