Competitive, depending on experience (£35,000 - £45,000) Hours : 40 hours per week, flexible We are currently recruiting for an On-Site Fridge Engineer / Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join an established transport and logistics operation with a fleet of 50 HGVs and trailers, including refrigerated vehicles.

The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the company's refrigerated vehicles operational and ensuring refrigeration units are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

Servicing and maintaining refrigeration units on HGVs, trailers and vans Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration faults Carrying out preventative maintenance and routine inspections Working on fridge/freezer units across the commercial vehicle fleet Identifying mechanical and refrigeration issues and resolving them efficiently Helping minimise vehicle downtime across the fleet About You We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded and has practical experience working with refrigerated vehicles or refrigeration systems.

Previous experience as a Fridge Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Transport Refrigeration Engineer Experience working on commercial vehicles, HGVs, trailers or vans F-Gas certification or relevant refrigeration gas qualification Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability A practical, hands-on approach The ability to work independently and manage your own workload What's on Offer £35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience) Flexible working arrangements 28 days' holiday Permanent, on-site position Streamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
