First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineering who are looking to recruit a Measurement & Technical Compliance Engineer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a specialist team providing technical, commercial and compliance assurance across major roads and infrastructure programmes.
The Role- Auditing and monitoring on-site works and associated records
- Reviewing and verifying suppliers' payment requests and measured quantities
- Providing technical information to support responses to disputed contractual issues
- Assessing works against contracts, processes and relevant standards
- Developing a strong understanding of relevant supplier contracts and requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with strong experience
- Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
- 3+ years of experience working within a consultancy, client-side or contractor environment, with a background in roads, highways or wider infrastructure projects
- Experience in measurement, technical compliance, auditing or contract monitoring
- Good knowledge of roads construction, maintenance and management
- Experience assessing and verifying works against contracts and standards
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review technical information and contractor records
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer, Roads Engineer, or Measurement & Technical Compliance professional to work on major infrastructure programmes in a role combining site assurance, measurement and contract compliance.
