Igne is seeking a Project Manager to join the Ground Investigation (GI) Division in Hamilton
. This is a full-time, permanent position that will require travel
. The Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of multiple ground investigation projects, from inception to completion, making this an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high impact work within a dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee multiple geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation projects from initial planning to close-out.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions when required.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectations management.
- Work closely with engineers, drillers, subcontractors, and commercial teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and manage financial forecasting.
- Proven experience managing projects within the geotechnical, civil engineering, or environmental sectors.
- Strong knowledge of ground investigation techniques, drilling methods, and laboratory testing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Experience preparing and maintaining QHSE documentation, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Commercial awareness, with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
- A degree in Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related discipline is essential.
- Salary on offer is c £45,000 per annum commensurate with experience
- 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
