Associate / Senior Associate Electrical Engineer Glasgow or Edinburgh | Full TimeA leading engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate Electrical Engineer to join its growing Scotland team.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of major projects, lead client relationships and help shape a high-performing team.

The Role You'll lead the delivery of technically excellent and commercially successful electrical engineering projects across sectors including healthcare, education, data centres, commercial, residential, infrastructure and technology.

You'll be responsible for:

Acting as a key client contact and developing strong relationships.

Leading electrical and multidisciplinary project teams.

Managing project delivery, resources, costs and commercial risks.

Reviewing technical work and supporting the development of junior engineers.

Ensuring designs meet relevant standards, regulations and quality requirements.

Contributing to business development and future project opportunities.

Sharing technical knowledge and helping develop the local team.

Senior Associates will also lead larger multidisciplinary schemes, support bids and interviews, and play a key role in the leadership and growth of the local practice.

About You You'll have a degree or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, extensive project and client leadership experience, and strong technical knowledge of electrical building services.

Chartered status is required for Senior Associate level and desirable or in progress for Associate level.

Strong leadership, communication and commercial skills are essential, alongside experience with BIM and relevant industry software.
