Igne is seeking Graduate Engineering Geologists to join its thriving and expanding team in GI Division in Hamilton, Glasgow
. This is a full-time
, permanent opportunity where you will contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale, complex ground investigation projects.
The role is suitably varied depending on base skills and will involve undertaking soil and core logging, factual reporting and data management. Whilst a relevant degree is essential, the key elements we are looking for in the successful candidate is a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines and targets.
Key responsibilities:- Conduct geological site assessments for a range of projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
- Undertaken soil and core logging
- Liaise with key project stakeholders
- Provide geological support during drilling, excavation and other field operations
- Produce factual reports
- Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout all phases of the projects
- Bachelor or Masters’ degree in a related subject (Geology, Civil Engineering or related discipline)
- Knowledge of geological mapping, data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full driving licence (travel is required)
- Salary c £30,000 per annum
