Civil Structural Design Engineer

Civil / Structural Design Engineer Glasgow Permanent This opportunity is open to engineers with 3 years' experience , through to senior-level professionals. We are particularly interested in candidates with Temporary Works design experience, although we will also consider Senior Engineers with 7 years' experience gained within infrastructure, bridges, energy, or related civil/structural engineering sectors.

The Role You'll work on a diverse portfolio of challenging projects, developing innovative design solutions and taking responsibility for delivering engineering excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Temporary Works design in accordance with BS 5975 and Eurocodes Design and assessment of steel, reinforced concrete and timber structures Temporary propping schemes Demolition stability assessments Excavation support systems Façade retention design Scaffold design Piling platform design Production of calculations, drawings and technical reports Client-facing project delivery and stakeholder engagement Site visits and technical support during construction phases About You You will ideally have: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum 3 years' relevant industry experience Strong civil and/or structural design capabilities Understanding of BS 5975 and Eurocodes Working towards Chartered status (ICE or IStructE) Excellent communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively What's On Offer?
