Your impact
This role places you at the centre of a multi discipline, highly integrated design team delivering complex, fast paced projects for the global semiconductor manufacturing sector. You will contribute to the planning and design of advanced fabs, sub fabs, clean rooms, and high purity utility systems, and next generation manufacturing facilities. Our team is trusted by industry leading technology clients to design some of the most sophisticated and tightly regulated environments being built anywhere in the world.

As part of this dynamic group, you will collaborate with experts across process engineering, electrical systems, mechanical/HVAC for clean rooms, structural design, and BIM coordination, a rich environment for a mid level designer to accelerate their technical growth.

Projects span feasibility studies, long range master planning, and full design lifecycle delivery, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction phase services for both design/bid/build and design/build execution models. You will help shape facilities where precision, contamination control, resilience, and uptime are paramount.

Our Electrical Engineers:

Organize, assign, and delegate necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers.

Manage scope, budget and schedule to meet project goals.

Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines to develop designs.

Take responsible charge of the electrical design, including technical accuracy, completeness, and quality of electrical construction documents.

Analyze and design complex building systems, including:

Medium and low voltage power systems

Lighting, grounding, and process heating systems

Standby generator and UPS systems for critical power needs

Are responsible for up front site selection and due diligence activities.

Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities.

Review construction submittals for conformance with the intent of contract and design documents.

Provide guidance and mentoring to project electrical engineers and designers on a project-by-project basis.
Here's what you'll need
Hons Degree Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering design of building electrical systems

Experience in application of IEC and applicable local building/specialty codes.

Excellent English; written and spoken

Preferred requirements:5 to 10 years’ experience in engineering design of building electrical systems

Extensive experience in design of semiconductor or other advanced manufacturing facilities

Experience in Semiconductor Tool Install and Data Centre design

Knowledge of ATEX requirements

Working Knowledge of Revit or BIM Software…
