Are you ready to support a talented team of engineers and consultants, and shape the future of the water industry? Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior CAD Technician
.

We are looking for a passionate individual with Civil 3D/Revit experience to contribute to the delivery of high-quality technical drawings and models across a range of infrastructure projects. You will be based in our fantastic Glasgow office, whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.

These include major water companies such as Thames Water, Welsh Water, Severn Trent Water, Wessex Water, South West Water, Scottish Water and Tier 1 Contractors.

• Digital Delivery:
  
  Responsible for developing design outputs frominitialconcepts through to fully detailed design deliverables
• Utilise Digital Tools:
  Encourage the use of digital tools to review, influence, and enhance design quality processes
• Champion BIM:
  Promote, articulate, and lead BIM behaviours on the projects
• Coordinate project Deliverables:
  
  Support coordination of deliverables for multiple projects, ensuring completion within budget. Provide support andmanagementofprojectresourcestofacilitateproduction of deliverables
• Team Relationship:
  Beproactivein relationships with internal project stakeholders, reporting progress of highlighting any technical issues fortimelyresolution
• Maintain Standards:
  Support theCAD LeadinmaintainingCAD standards, best practices, and processes for modelling, content creation, and advanced digital developments
• Design Team Meetings:
  
  Activelyparticipateand input to design team meetings, bringing with you a digital by default mindset, championing the use of 3D model reviews and markups
• Mentor Junior Technicians:
  Work across the Scotland offices supporting junior Revit Technicians, from a technical perspective

• Certified minimum of HND or Equivalent in an engineering discipline
  
  Civil/Structural Engineering
• Project Information Delivery:
  Experience in delivering project information in accordance withBIM standards
• Software Proficiency:
  Proficient in using Civil 3d or Revit, with experience invalidating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software.(minimum5years of experience)
