H9 Talent Solutions are looking to identify an experienced Building Services Supervisor (M&E) to join a large scale energy project in Scotland (Central Belt). You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising mechanical and electrical building services on a major thermal energy project, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, programme and required quality standards.
Role & Responsibilities
* Supervise mechanical and electrical building services installation and erection activities.
* Coordinate subcontractors and interfaces with other contractors.
* Review RAMS and monitor compliance with project HSE requirements.
* Lead erection, coordination and progress meetings.
* Monitor programme, cost and quality and report progress.
* Coordinate inspections, testing and readiness for commissioning.
* Manage quality issues and notify the project team of HSE, quality, schedule or contractual deviations.
* Support final inspections, commissioning readiness and handover.
Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience in a Building Services / M&E Supervisor role on large industrial, thermal power or Energy
* Strong HSEQ leadership and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
* 18th Edition BS 7671.
* SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent.
* NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
