The Opportunity
We are seeking a Commercial Lead to drive the commercial performance of our Power & Renewables Business Unit across the UK and Ireland.
This is a senior leadership role where you will take ownership of all commercial activities, from early-stage opportunity assessment and tendering through to project delivery and final account, ensuring risk is managed, value is maximised, and commercial strategy aligns with business growth objectives.
Role Purpose
As Commercial Lead, you will provide strategic commercial leadership across a growing portfolio of power and renewable projects, ensuring strong governance, robust contract management, and high-performing project delivery.
You will work closely with the Commercial Director, Business Unit leadership, and cross-functional teams to protect the company’s position, strengthen client relationships, and support continued expansion in the Power & Renewables sector
Key Responsibilities Commercial Leadership & Business Performance
- Lead and coordinate all commercial activities across the Power & Renewables Business Unit
- Drive revenue, margin, and cashflow performance through effective reporting and cost management
- Establish and implement optimal commercial structures aligned with Business Unit and Group strategy
- Strengthen commercial capability and awareness across the wider team
- Lead commercial input across tendering, bid strategy, and project selection
