Are you an environment artist ready to leave your mark on a bold, stylised open world built in Unreal Engine 5? This is a hands on role where you’ll have real creative ownership across the full environment pipeline: from asset creation and world building to final in-engine implementation. You’ll be shaping explorable landscapes in a stylised visual direction rooted in exaggerated realism – think bold, characterful worlds with serious craft behind them.
Working closely with art leadership, design, and engineering, you’ll ensure assets are visually consistent, technically sound, and optimised for a large, interconnected world. If you love building rich, believable game worlds and want to see your work explored by players, this is the role for you.
- Create and implement high-quality 3D environment assets and scenes that align with the visual style of Rune Scape:
Dragonwilds. - Build modular environment kits and reusable assets to support scalable world building.
- Own the full asset lifecycle: modelling, texturing, and material creation aligned to the project's visual direction.
- Collaborate with Leads and Senior Artists to ensure assets meet quality, style, and technical requirements.
- Apply feedback to refine assets and maintain consistency across environments.
- Follow established pipelines, production guides, and technical constraints for Unreal Engine 5 development.
- Support environment production across multiple areas of the game, including terrain, props, and set dressing.
- Solid experience creating environment art for games in Unreal Engine, with experience in industry standard tools (Maya, Zbrush, Substance suite etc.)
- A strong skillset spanning level art, prop creation, modelling, and texturing.
- Experience working on open world or large scale environments.
- A portfolio that shows off stylised or exaggerated-realism environments - we want to see your eye for a world.

- Experience with lighting or concept support is a bonus, not a deal breaker.
