ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Manager will be a key player in the firm’s corporate tax offering across the central belt, supporting a varied client base that includes owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed companies, and large corporate groups.
- Take ownership of a client portfolio, becoming the go-to contact for corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
- Get involved in a range of interesting projects, from tax structuring and transactions to audit of tax and group reporting.
- Work closely with partners, directors, and other service lines to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Support, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, helping them grow and succeed.
- Contribute to business development and help strengthen the firm’s presence in the local market.
- Professionally qualified (CA, ATT, CTA or equivalent) with experience in corporate tax.
- Comfortable managing their own client workload and reviewing work prepared by others.
- Curious, collaborative, and confident working directly with clients and internal teams.
- Up to date with UK corporate tax rules and aware of international tax concepts.
- Eager to grow — whether that’s developing new skills, mentoring others, or helping to shape the future of the team.
