A leading food manufacturing business is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is a pivotal role supporting the senior management team with accurate reporting, analysis and financial control across the business.

• Prepare timely, accurate financial statements in line with UK GAAP.
• Manage year‑end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Produce financial reports, forecasts and budgets to support strategic decision‑making.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Develop and enhance financial controls, processes and systems.
• Support subsidiaries with accounting queries and guidance.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proven experience in audit management, reporting and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in the food or FMCG sector is advantageous.
