Financial Controller

We are seeking a commercially driven and technically strong Financial Controller to lead a high performing and established finance function and support strategic decision-making across the business. This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full ownership of financial control, reporting and team leadership while partnering across the organisation to deliver insight and operational value.

• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing finance team
• Oversee accurate and timely monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Lead year-end statutory reporting and manage external audit processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Partner with operational teams to drive cost efficiency and performance
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning processes
• Take ownership of financial systems and reporting integrity
• Drive process improvements, scalability and finance transformation initiatives

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience
• Proven financial leadership experience within a complex or fast-paced environment
• Strong technical knowledge of financial controls and statutory reporting
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel capability and ERP experience
