Financial Controller

SThree are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller who can lead regional financial reporting, strengthen our control environment, and provide meaningful insight that supports strategic decision‑making.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting for your region, act as a key business partner, and lead a small team focused on excellence, accuracy and insight. • Lead the monthly accounts close process for your region
• Produce insightful management reporting across Income Statement and Balance Sheet
• Partner with the business as the lead finance contact for regional accounting matters
• Own the budgeting and forecasting process for your region
• Review balance sheet accounts and highlight risks, opportunities and recommendations
• Drive improvements across the internal control environment
• Review and analyse variable costs such as commissions and bonuses
• Lead on audit deliverables, working closely with our External Reporting team
• Produce payroll reconciliations, journals and key accounting submissions
• Support or lead group‑wide accounting initiatives
• Manage, coach and develop a small team
• Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners and other Finance Ops teams

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Accountant or equivalent, or qualified by experience
• Strong knowledge of financial and management reporting
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain finance to non‑finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with experience writing clear, meaningful commentary
• Experience managing or coaching others (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to prioritise workload with minimal supervision
• Strong problem‑solving skills and sound commercial awareness
