Interim Reporting Accountant; FTC

Rutherford Cross is pleased to be working with a business based in Glasgow (South) to appoint an Interim Reporting Accountant on a 12-month basis to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager.

• Complete review of balance sheet reconciliations undertaken by the reporting team
• Work with the payroll department to complete payroll journal, holiday and bonus accruals and overtime approval
• Work with external auditors to review and submit monthly VAT returns
• Fixed asset reconciliations and capex forecast
• Preliminary & final customer balance reconciliation
• Ensure completeness of journal entries in SAP
• Roll-forwards in SAP system for all shared-service and other entities

• Qualified, Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’
• Prior experience in a similar Financial or Management Accounting role within industry
• Good Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems
• Available immediately
