iMultiply is delighted to be partnering with a growing multi‑entity professional services group to appoint a Group Management Accountant into a key role within the central finance function. This position has been created to strengthen group‑level reporting, support continued expansion, and enhance financial governance across an increasingly complex organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware accountant who is motivated by consolidation, analysis, systems improvement and group‑wide financial stewardship.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Management Accountant will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality management information, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, and driving improvements in controls and reporting efficiency. As the business continues to expand—both organically and via acquisitions—the role offers significant exposure to integration activity, group consolidation and senior‑level decision‑making. You will join a finance team that is modernising its systems, standardising reporting processes and preparing the organisation for its next phase of growth.

The environment is fast‑paced, commercially focused, and ideally suited to someone who enjoys variety and influence across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group Reporting & Consolidation
    • Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow for multiple entities.
    • Produce board pack reporting with narrative performance analysis versus budget and prior year.
    • Deliver KPI reporting aligned with commercial and investor requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Coordinate the group‑wide annual budgeting process.
    • Prepare quarterly reforecasts and scenario modelling to support strategic planning.
    • Develop insightful financial analysis to support forward‑looking decision‑making.
  • Cash Management
    • Support group‑level cash management, including oversight of credit control.
    • Prepare short‑term rolling cashflow forecasts and cash performance updates for inclusion in board reporting.
  • Controls, Processes & Reporting Improvements
    • Work closely with the Group FC to strengthen financial controls and streamline reporting processes.
    • Standardise reporting formats across the group and improve accuracy and reporting timelines.
    • Support improvements to systems, automation, and financial processes.
    • Assist with the year‑end audit and liaise with external auditors.
  • Acquisitions & Integration
    • Support financial due diligence as required.
    • Assist with onboarding newly acquired entities into group reporting structures.
    • Harmonise accounting policies, reporting timetables and controls across newly integrated businesses.
    • Track and understand synergy benefits from acquisitions.
Candidate Profile
  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA). 2-5 years PQE
  • Experienced in management accounting and consolidation within a multi‑entity environment.
  • Strong technically, with advanced Excel capability and a high level of accuracy.
  • A confident communicator able to work across a range of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a growing, evolving finance function where process improvement is encouraged.
  • Experience with acquisitions, integration or private‑equity–backed environments would be beneficial, though not essential.
On Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • Exposure to group‑level leadership, acquisitions and commercial decision‑making
  • The opportunity to add value within a growing, forward‑thinking organisation
