A well-established, independent mid-market accounting and advisory firm based in Glasgow, providing audit, tax, and corporate finance services to owner-managed businesses, private equity houses, and entrepreneurial growth companies across Scotland and the wider UK.
Due to continued growth in our Corporate Finance team, we are seeking an ambitious Corporate Finance Manager to lead advisory mandates and deliver high-quality Financial Due Diligence engagements.
The RoleAs Corporate Finance Manager, you will play a key leadership role across both Lead Advisory (M&A) and Financial Due Diligence (FDD) assignments.
Key Responsibilities- Project manage buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
- Prepare Information Memoranda, financial models, and buyer research
- Lead management meetings and support negotiations
- Manage transaction timetables and stakeholder communication
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, banks, and PE investors
- Lead FDD assignments for private equity and corporate clients
- Analyse historical and forecast financial information
- Prepare quality of earnings reports and working capital analyses
- Identify key risks, adjustments, and deal considerations
- Present findings clearly to clients and stakeholders
- Manage and mentor junior team members
- Review work and ensure technical excellence
- Support business development initiatives and pitch presentations
- Contribute to thought leadership and market presence in Scotland
We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a deal-driven environment.
- 4–7+ years’ experience in Corporate Finance / Transaction Services
- Strong experience in both Lead Advisory and FDD
- Proven project management capability
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent report writing and client communication skills
- Experience working with owner-managed businesses and mid-market PE
- Exposure to cross-border transactions
- Existing professional network in the Scottish market
