Accounting Intern/Trainee - Glasgow Internship Overview

As part of the Next Generation Trainee Program at CBRE IA&R, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience, learn from industry experts and specialists, and gain meaningful work experience during your time  supportive training plan of the program will promote your rapid development. You will also gain valuable insights into how we support our clients and which will help you deepen your knowledge of real estate, accounting, finance, and related areas.

• Preparation of accounting journal entries
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Control bank balances
• Control intercompany operations
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and reporting packages
• Monitor daily movements of banks and registrars
• Support in the preparation of Financial Statements
• Support in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits

• A forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual with a passion for accounting and finance
• Self‑motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and proactive with a positive attitude
• Attention to detail, accuracy and good time management
• Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
• Ability to speak, read and write in English
