Purpose of the role
To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities- Support day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives through lending technical expertise.
- Monitor the bank’s lending operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
- Identify improvement areas and recommend changes to Wholesale Lending processes.
- Develop and implement procedures and controls that mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Create reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
- Identify industry trends and develop best practice implementations in Wholesale Lending Services.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
- Advise and influence decision making; contribute to policy development; take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions.
- Lead teams performing complex tasks, using professional knowledge and skills to deliver business‑impacting work.
- Set objectives, coach employees, conduct performance appraisal, and determine reward outcomes.

This role will be based out of Glasgow.
