Join us in the Client Confidentiality team at Barclays, to support Wholesale Lending with day‑to‑day processing, reviewing, and reporting of sensitive client information and actively managing corporate restructures.
To be successful as a Client Confidentiality, you should have:
- Experience of corporate actions and NDAs.
- Familiarity with Syndtrack and other deal sites.
- Experience in corporate lending and/or a secondary loan trading support function.
- Ability to manage multiple urgent work streams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive attitude.

This role will be based out of Glasgow.
Purpose of the roleTo support Wholesale Lending with day‑to‑day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities- Support with day‑to‑day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
- Monitor the bank’s lending operations to ensure they are conducted efficiently and effectively and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
- Develop and implement Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
- Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness; collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions.
- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well‑developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver work that impacts the whole business function. Set objectives, coach employees, appraise performance, determine reward outcomes.
