Accounting Manager - General Accounting

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our General Accounting team in Glasgow. This new role supports multiple global trading divisions and plays a key part in transforming and improving our operating expense accounting processes.

• Lead and review operating expense accounting for multiple divisions.
• Ensure financial results are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Oversee month-end journal entries and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Provide clear and insightful analysis of financial performance.
• Manage and develop a team, supporting graduates and trainees.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardisation.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across global and regional teams.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls.

• You are a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• You are experienced in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and project management (preferred but not essential).
• You are great at managing people and building strong relationships.
• You are organised, detail-oriented, and thrive under deadlines.
• You are flexible and adapt well to change.
• You are passionate about improving processes and driving positive change.
• You are eligible to work in the UK.
