An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high‑calibre Senior Management Accountant to join NHS Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

Responsibilities:

• Provide line management, guidance and support to the Management Accounting and Finance Officer functions within the organisation.
• Provide strategic leadership and expert professional advice to senior management.
• Provide key financial reporting internally and externally to the organisation.
• Manage conflicting priorities, support and guide colleagues, and identify and lead on changes and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated with strong initiative, excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Strong finance systems knowledge and experience.
• Capable of working with finance, clinical and non‑clinical staff at all levels.
