As Head of Treasury Finance, you will play a central role in enabling this agenda, leading the financial foundations of Treasury and working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure robust planning, strong control andhigh qualityinsight that informs key funding, liquidity and risk decisions.

• Be a core member of SSE's Treasury Leadership Team, working closely with the Group Treasurer and senior stakeholders across Finance, Investor Relation sand the wider business.
• Leadend to end Treasury financial planning,control and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting andlong term interest and net debt modelling.
• Ensure strong financial governance andhigh quality reporting across debt, derivatives, liquidity and cashflow, with outputs that are accurate, compliant andaudit ready.
• Lead technical accounting and hedge accounting,maintainingrobust controls and ensuring compliance with IFRS across a complex portfolio.
• Provide forward lookingfinancial insight to support funding, capitalstructureand risk management decisions, while building capability and driving continuous improvement across the function.

• A relevant professional financial qualification (for example ICAS, ICAEW, ACA or CIMA), with a treasury qualification beneficial.
• Experienceoperatingwithin a large, complex organisation, witha track recordof leading financial planning,reporting and control at scale.
• Strong technical accountingexpertise, including working knowledge of hedge accounting and financial governance frameworks.
• Well-developedanalytical and financial modelling capability, with the ability to evaluate risk and opportunity and translate this into clear, practical insight.
• A collaborative and credible leadership style, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence senior stakeholders and lead teams through change.
