Job Description
Deliver exceptional sales and business performance by acquiring, developing and maintaining highly proactive, long‑term client relationships. Protect Barclays reputation through sound risk decisions by managing client groups within their risk profile and the appropriate regulatory framework.
AccountabilitiesManage and grow client relationships and acquire new clients by identifying and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs.
Establish a sound understanding of the strategy of the clients in their portfolio through regular proactive contact, responding to client/prospect queries and requests and identifying opportunities that will deliver long‑term commercial reward.
Manage operational, reputational, financial crime and credit risk for the portfolio to avoid exposing Barclays to undue risk.
Ensure all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Service/group relationships – referrals to group colleagues.

Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions.

Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for inclusion of other areas of specialisation, identify new directions for assignments and/or projects, and use cross‑functional methodologies to meet required outcomes.
Consult on complex issues, provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures to support the control and governance agenda. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.

This role is part of our Wealth Management Business, a growing area for the bank, expanding our ability to support clients with investable assets up to £3million and help close the Advice Gap in the UK. As part of our broader Affluent segment, this planning‑led proposition offers clear and accessible investment options shaped around each client’s needs.
