Talent are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing SME based in Newport who are seeking to hire a Financial Controller to manage the day to day running of the finance function.
Role Overview The Group Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of an international manufacturing SME. The individual will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and drive financial efficiency across the organisation. The role requires a tactical, commercially focused leader who can operate as a true business partner across the organisation, providing financial insight, discipline, and challenge to support organic growth.
T he position will involve managing financial operations across multiple subsidiaries and jurisdictions while ensuring high standards of governance, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Management Financial Planning & Analysis es. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Internal Controls, Governance & Compliance Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering Projects, Transformation & Continuous Improvement Systems & Process Improvement Key Requirements Qualifications ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification Degree-level education or equivalent Experience Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role, within an SME environment Experience in group consolidations and multi-currency environments Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and international accounting practices Experience in financial systems implementation and process improvement Summary
