Overview
Join us at Barclays as an Investments Operations Analyst, to support Private Banking Wealth Management with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.
To be successful as an Investments Operations Analyst, you should have experience with:
- Good knowledge and experience of corporate actions (UK and International) and how they impact at a wealth management/private bank level.
- Considerable knowledge of product types from Equities, Bonds & Funds to more complex products such as Hedge funds, derivatives and Private Markets.
- Experience of managing and delivering change management and strategy execution across Corporate Action journey.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Asset servicing/Corporate Action knowledge.
- Investments operation knowledge.
- Previous experience working in Private Banking sector.

This role will be based in Glasgow.
Purpose of the roleTo support PBWM with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.
Accountabilities- Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
- Support the management of the banks client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Development and implementation of Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.
- To perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
- Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise.
- Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise.
