Join a leading UK financial planning and wealth management business and take over an established client bank in our client’s Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Adviser looking to develop long‑term client relationships, grow recurring revenue, and be supported by a dedicated paraplanning and client administration team.
Purpose of the Role- Build strong relationships with existing clients and grow revenue opportunities while generating new leads and appointments through referrals
- Act as a trusted financial adviser, developing an in‑depth understanding of clients’ financial circumstances, immediate needs, and long‑term life goals
- Work closely with the paraplanning team to create tailored financial plans and advice solutions that help clients achieve their objectives
- Deliver an outstanding ongoing review service to ensure clients’ financial plans continue to meet their needs, taking into account changes in personal circumstances, legislation, and economic conditions
- Act as a trusted Investment Adviser under the Approved Persons Certification Regime, adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all active clients receive annual review meetings, with appropriate documentation maintained
- Follow the firm’s financial advice process, service standards, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Utilise cashflow modelling tools, where appropriate, to demonstrate the impact and value of financial advice
- Work collaboratively with the paraplanning and client administration teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Build relationships with prospective clients and convert opportunities into long‑term business relationships
- Develop and strengthen relationships with introducers and their teams where applicable
- Maintain client files in line with compliance and regulatory standard
- Generate new business opportunities from existing client banks and other lead source
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships across all stakeholder groups
- Experienced Financial Adviser with strong relationship‑building skills
- Personable, proactive and able to use initiative
- Strong understanding of clients’ goals, aspirations and financial planning needs
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently
- Energetic and professional in approach
- Committed to delivering excellent client outcomes and service standards
- 25 days holiday, increasing by one day per year up to 30 days
