Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a leading international organisation to recruit an FP&A Accountant for one of its key business units.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to take the next step in a highly analytical, business-facing role. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, performance analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the business.

As a trusted finance partner, you'll transform complex financial data into meaningful commercial insights, helping operational leaders understand the financial impact of business decisions while identifying opportunities to enhance performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver monthly management reporting, providing insightful analysis of financial performance and key business drivers.
  • Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and rolling forecast processes to ensure financial plans align with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Produce detailed variance analysis with clear recommendations to support business improvement.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analysis to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, and operational changes.
  • Monitor revenue, margins, costs, and operational KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Partner closely with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and support informed decision-making.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis to support effective resource planning.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist with business cases, capital expenditure proposals, and investment appraisals.
  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting processes, automation, and financial information quality.
About You

We're looking for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys working with data, influencing stakeholders, and driving business performance through high-quality analysis.

You will ideally bring:
  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW/CA)
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A proactive, commercially focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
