Accounts Assistant

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance department and support our Treasury & Bank Reconciliation team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance experience, a recent finance graduate, or a part-qualified accounting professional.

• Processing daily banking and cashbook transactions
• Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Setting up internal and external payments
• Investigating and resolving transactional queries
• Working closely with teams across the business to improve processes and drive efficiency
• Supporting the Treasury & Bank Reconciliation Manager with day-to-day activities

• Accounts qualification or relevant finance background
• Strong Excel skills and experience using financial systems (Oracle preferred)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment
• A team player who takes ownership and strives for accuracy
