Following continued growth within their national Tax Consultancy team, they are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their Glasgow office.
Your new roleJoining an established corporate tax team, you will work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners to deliver a mixture of compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base.
You will be responsible for reviewing corporate tax computations and returns, managing day-to-day client relationships and supporting the delivery of tax planning assignments. Alongside developing your own technical knowledge, you will have the opportunity to coach and support junior members of the team while contributing to the continued growth of the tax function.
This role offers excellent exposure to both compliance and advisory work, making it an ideal opportunity for an ambitious tax professional seeking the next step in their career.
What You'll Need To SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will have experience working within corporate tax, gained through an accountancy practice environment. You will possess strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance and be comfortable building relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Applicants will ideally be CTA qualified or working towards qualification and will have experience reviewing technical work and supporting more junior team members. Strong communication skills are essential, together with a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent client service. Experience using Alpha Tax would be advantageous but is not essential.
