The Role & The Work Join a high-performing Banking & Finance team on a global platform, operating at the forefront of complex corporate lending and real estate finance. This team consistently delivers on high-value, cross-border transactions across the UK and internationally.
You will play a key role in structuring and delivering sophisticated financing deals for a standout client base, including major banks, insurers, debt funds and leading corporates. From large-scale corporate lending arrangements to intricate real estate finance transactions, your work will sit at the centre of major investment and development activity, often with a cross-border dimension.
Working as part of a fully integrated, multi-office team, you'll collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and the firm's global network. This is a truly international platform, offering exposure to multi-jurisdictional deals and evolving market trends shaping the future of finance.
From the outset, you'll be trusted with responsibility, encouraged to lead on matters and build direct client relationships. In a team that embraces innovation, collaboration and commercial thinking, you'll develop not just as a technical lawyer, but as a forward-thinking adviser in a rapidly evolving finance landscape.
Your Experience Scottish or Dual Qualified (2-5 PQE)
Experience in banking & finance / corporate lending
Strong grounding in general banking transactions
Exposure to real estate finance (desirable)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and use initiative
Commercially aware with strong problem-solving skills
Interest in business development and building client relationships
