We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join a busy professional services business as a replacement for an existing role in Glasgow.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the Group’s ongoing transition towards improving and building upon their current Shared Service Centre model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate ongoing group finance transformation and transition activity.
  • Oversee key finance processes, ensuring effective controls, consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Manage transition plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate process documentation, knowledge transfer and training.
  • Work closely with finance teams, SSC leadership, technology and transformation stakeholders.
  • Ensuring processes are operating effectively.
  • Provide clear reporting, insight and recommendations to the Finance Director
    .
  • Identify opportunities to standardise, simplify and improve Group finance processes.
  • Support the development of the Group’s future finance operating model.
Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA
  • Previous experience in a Group Finance Manager, Finance Manager or finance transformation role
    .
  • Strong knowledge of core finance processes. ( RTR, PTP, Treasury)
  • Experience of managing change, process improvement or shared service transitions.
  • Strong financial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisation and communication abilities.
  • Confidence working with senior leadership and influencing across the wider Group.
  • A pragmatic, commercially focused and continuous improvement mindset.

This is a senior position, offering close exposure to the Finance Director and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the future development of the finance function.
