Shettleston is a community-based housing association, and a Scottish Charity, which has played a major role in the regeneration of the local area for 50 years.
An opportunity has arisen to join Shettleston Housing Association as Finance Officer, following the retirement of the current postholder. We are seeking an organised and experienced finance professional with strong financial management, customer service and communication skills. In this role, you will help deliver an effective and responsive finance service, supporting accurate financial administration, reporting, compliance and day-to-day financial processes across all group companies.
The successful candidate will:
- Have relevant finance experience, ideally within a housing association, charity or other regulated environment.
- Be confident working with housing financial systems, budgets, reconciliations, reporting and day-to-day financial processes.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Have excellent communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Bring a proactive, organised and solution-focused approach to supporting continuous improvement across the finance function.
