Commercial Senior Finance Business Partner

About The Role:

The Commercial Senior Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance and strategic decision-making across the Retail, Leisure & CPS sector within the Cleaning Business Unit. Acting as a trusted advisor to both the Commercial Finance Director and Sector MD, this role will lead a small team of Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful financial analysis, robust forecasting, and value-adding business support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Sector MD to influence strategic direction and drive financial performance.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the sector.
• Provide commercial insight and challenge to operational and strategic initiatives.

• Manage and mentor a small team of Finance Business Partners, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Support career development and ensure continuous improvement in financial capabilities across the team.

• Build strong relationships with operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Drive cost efficiency, margin improvement, and revenue growth initiatives.

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Monitor risks KPIs and performance metrics, identifying and opportunities.
• Support month-end and year-end processes in collaboration with the wider finance team.

• Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and procedures of OCS.
• Support audit processes and risk management activities.

Key

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience, ideally within Facilities Management industry.
• Proven experience in a senior finance business partnering role.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Experience in a multi-site or service-based business is desirable.
